The Browders (Check out the Browders ONLINE!)
From their beginning traveling together as a family in a Dodge Omni car, to a full-time music ministry with national hits, The Browders of Hiltons, Virginia are one of the most exciting groups to step on stage in many years. This family group consists of Tommy Browder, his sons, Matthew and David, and Matthew’s wife, Sonya. They travel year round, keeping a full concert schedule as well as holding revivals across the country. One of their most captivating qualities is that The Browders play much of their music live with Tommy on acoustic lead, David on bass, Matthew on rhythm guitar and Sonya on piano. Starting the group in 1985, founding member Greg Powers, currently sings tenor. He has been a mainstay on stage for more that two decades serving as the group's emcee, and bass guitarist. Both on and off stage he continues to lead the ministry efforts and is most respected by industry peers as a solid quartet manager. His devotion to the music ministry is the epitome of commitment in an ever changing society Erik Lipford from Alamo, TN joined the ministry in July 2005 where he remained for over a year until he left to pursue private studies at the University of Tennessee-Martin. He returned in March 2007 to perform double duties as the groups' lead vocalist and pianist. He brings dynamic delivery to the vocal arrangements as well as keyboard talents that are seldom paralleled by musicians today. His youthfulness is complemented by his down home sense of humor and humility. Bass singer Aaron Watkins, from Metropolis, IL came aboard in August 2006. Although he is only in his twenties, he brings to the team many years of experience as a quartet singer. With his deep rich voice, he is destined to become a superman of bass singers within our industry today. His commitment to progress is matched only by his heartfelt determination to uplift Christ through music. Most recently, Randy Patton of Kevil, KY joined the team to sing baritone. Randy's journey of service in ministry began in 1976 as drummer for a local quartet. He soon traded the drumsticks for a microphone where he quickly found his place as a true quartet man. Singing for more than twenty five years, his solid round voice now provides the basis for the unique harmonies of this group, where he continues to fulfill his calling to the ministry. Mike Upright has been traveling the United States for 15 years singing songs of hope and inspiration to God’s people and sharing the Gospel with the lost. Dubbed by some as “The Southern Gentleman” of Gospel music Mike shares the message in his songs with a smooth vocal style that is very distinctive and easy to identify. However, as you will see, those who are fans of such classic country greats like Merle Haggard and Marty Robbins will notice the influence and will fall in love with Mike’s music! Mike lives in the mountains of North Carolina with his Wife, two daughters, his yeller dog “O’Malley” and three cats! Mike has appeared on TV shows such as TBN and FRONT PORCH GOSPEL, has charted many, many songs in the nation’s top Gospel Music Magazine’s and his music can be heard on XM radio and Gospel Music stations throughout The United States, Canada, Mexico, The Netherlands and the list goes on! Mike sings in Churches, festivals, and Auditoriums throughout the year and welcomes you to call him for a booking if you feel his singing ministry will be a blessing to you and those you love! Kindred Heart They are a wonderful family group consisting of two sisters, Amy and Diane, and their brother, Brian, who is co-pastor of their local church. They have a great sound and have been very close friends of the Campbells for years. Kindred Heart have some surprises for our loyal homecoming fans and, hopefully, new friends at this year’s event.
Alan Frink Alan has been singing since the age of four and has shared a close relationship with the Campbells’ most of his life. It is Alan's prayer and desire to sing wherever God may lead him. His heart’s burden is to see lost souls brought to our loving Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Alan's music brings together Southern and Light Contemporary Gospel, and with Alan's unique style, every song is different. One thing that never changes is the intense anointing that the Lord has placed on his life.
Heaven’s Blend Heaven’s Blend is a perfect name for these three men of God who pastor separate churches. They have a tender heart towards God and their parishioners. As servants they give new meaning to the words love and caring for their people and the truth of God’s Word.
Elzadia Parsons Elzadia writes and performs deeply religious songs granted to her by the Lord. Her goal is to spread the feelings and message of these songs to as many listeners as possible. She is a very talented songwriter and vocalist and is a joy to work with. She has shared the stage many times with The Campbells and is back with us by popular demand.
Many others will also be participating in the concert. Our MC will be the much enjoyed Barry Dutton. Barry is a pastor and has been acclaimed by many to be the best concert MC in America.
