Life's most important decision is not what college you will attend or what career path you will choose or even who will be your spouse. However, important those decisions may be, they will not be THE MOST IMPORTANT DECISION you will even make. The most Important Decision you will ever make is a spiritual decision. Will you choose to examine and believe the claims of God in the Bible? The Bible makes a number of claims to fact such as:
Among the claims the Bible makes is one found in John 20:31 "But these are written, (The Holy Bible) that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name." We can have eternal life through Jesus Christ. We can spend eternity with Him in Heaven if we would but choose to believe what he said. 1...Romans 3:23 "for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God" . Each and every one of us have in one way or another violated God's commands. 2...Isaiah 59:2 "But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear." Our sin, our violation of God's commands has broken our relationship with God. 3...We need a spiritual rebirth to mend our relationship John 3:3 "Except a man to be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." 4...Jesus stands at your heart's door and asks admission. It's up to you to open your heart and invite Him in. Revelations 3:20 "Behold, I stand at the door and knock: if any man hear my voice and open the door, I will come into him, and will sup with him, and he with me." Why don't you take a moment to pray. Ask Jesus to forgive you of your sins. Ask Jesus to come into your heart and be your Savior. By faith receive Him into your heart. Next find a Church, not just any Church, but one that will teach the Bible, then begin to attend regularly, read your Bible and continue to pray for Christian growth. |
